Cookie and Tracking Policy
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. This page explains which ones we use and how to switch them off.
Last updated: 4 August 2026
1. Cookies we use today
At the moment we do not run any analytics or advertising cookies on this site. Nothing on these pages tracks you across other websites.
- Strictly necessary cookies, which keep the site working, remember your session and help protect against abuse. These cannot be switched off.
- Google Search Console verification, which confirms to Google that we own the site. It is a meta tag, not a cookie, and it does not track you.
2. Advertising and analytics we are planning
We plan to advertise on TikTok, on YouTube and Google, and on Facebook and Instagram, and to measure how well those adverts work. None of these are live yet. Before we switch any of them on we will ask for your consent and update this page. When they are live, these are the tools we expect to use and what they do.
- TikTok Pixel (TikTok Technology Limited). Sets cookies such as _ttp and _tt_enable_cookie to measure whether a TikTok advert led to a sign-up, and to show adverts to similar people.
- Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and YouTube (Google Ireland Limited). Sets cookies such as _ga, _gid and _gcl_au, and YouTube may set VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE and YSC if we embed a video. These tell us which pages people read, where they drop off, and whether an advert led to a sign-up.
- Meta Pixel for Facebook and Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited). Sets cookies such as _fbp, and reads the fbc value from advert clicks, to measure adverts and build remarketing audiences.
These providers are based outside South Africa, so switching them on will involve a cross border transfer of limited technical information. Our privacy policy explains how we handle that.
3. Your choices and opt-out links
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
- TikTok: manage personalised adverts in the TikTok app under Settings, Privacy, Ads personalisation, and read more at tiktok.com privacy policy.
- Google, YouTube and Google Ads: turn off personalised adverts at myadcenter.google.com or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Facebook and Instagram: manage advert settings at accountscenter.facebook.com/ad_preferences.
- Where we ask for consent, you can withdraw it later by emailing info@vuleka.com.
4. WhatsApp
Our sign-up and support run on WhatsApp through our provider WATI. WhatsApp is operated by Meta and has its own privacy terms, which apply to your use of the app.
5. Contact
